Mailing Lists

There are two mailing lists for users of OS/161 and System/161:

os161-announce, a read-only list for announcements of new versions and significant bugs,
and os161-instructors, a closed list for people teaching using OS/161 to discuss assignments, solutions, grading, and other related issues.

There used to be an open general discussion list as well, but owing to necessary restrictions on student questions it was never useful and was eventually shut down.

Note that the lists moved (away from eecs.harvard.edu) in 2015 owing to infrastructure shutdown and outsourcing.

If you are a student, attempting to subscribe to os161-instructors, or attempting to access the instructors-only portion of the OS/161 web pages, may in and of itself constitute actionable academic dishonesty even if you receive no useful information. Be warned.
